2021 Syrah
A small one-acre plot of Syrah was planted in 1989. Untamed and gangly, the vines enjoyed the large temperature shifts the 2021 growing season provided. Upon the completion of fermentation, the wine was aged in a single new French oak barrel before being bottled unfined and unfiltered after 14 months of aging.
2021 Cabernet Sauvignon
The 2021 Grigsby Cabernet Sauvignon is a celebration of a wonderful growing season in the Napa Valley. Hand-harvested, multiple small picks took place over the month of September as our vineyard team identified pockets of perfect maturity. The wine was gently handled in the cellar, enjoying an extended maceration in the tank, then aged in French oak (50% new) for 16 months before being bottled unfined and unfiltered.
